2020 DBGC Master Plan

Wong Strauch Architects provided architectural design in support of Didier Design Studio’s Master Planning on the DBG Chatfield Farms. With the overall design of the complex, this included new Visitor Center, Administration/Education Building and Restaurant. Each of these structures is unique to thier individual functions, but complementary to the context of the historic Gardens. They all are sited to blend with the landscape and layout of the site design. The architectural elements are reflective of the iconic imagery and character of farms, but with modern interpretations to create individual buildings and respective of the surroundings.

The buildings each take on a philosophy of sustainable design, including durable natural materials and harvesting natural light.
