DBG Chatfield Farms

Located within the property of Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms, the design is for
six individual fully accessible family use restrooms, including a Green room for bridal use
and separate powder room. This provided a needed facility on the southern end of the
property for visitors, events and wedding activities. The design complements the
architecture design of the new Welcome Center on the north entry, with modern low
profiles and dramatic sloped roof with large expanses of windows letting natural light into
the restrooms. The exterior materials continue on the interior reflecting the high slope
ceilings finished with rich wood and exposed steel structure along with quality of wall tiles
and exposed polished concrete flooring. The building respects the surroundings in scale
and materials with adjacent historical structures and introducing a new character design
integrating into the Chatfield Farms.
