Denver Water Einfeldt

This Denver Water project is the re-development of the Einfeldt facility located in Denver. Adjacent to the historic 1932 Einfeldt Pump Station, the 1 acre site was utilized for a new structure to house the decentralization functions. The project is a two story, 3,800 sf building, which also house garages, locker rooms, offices, storage and loading docks. The site contains parking for employees and visitors.

The site design creates a park like feel for the facilities from the street, with the building designed to match the adjacent historic structure, all connected with a decorative fence to secure both facilities. Existing mature landscaping was kept in place and the overall look is that the facility has always been there.

The project received the “Community Preservation 2011” Design Award from Historic Denver.
