Located in the Streets of Southglenn, WSA provided the Interior Architecture for a new facility for the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. The 7,500 SF design incorporated open-office areas, hospitality level conference facilities and a Welcome Center for the Chamber. Oriented along a streetscape facing south, WSA used the 14′ high windows to bring light deep into the facility, keeping the window area for the public to transition and gather, instead of giving this space to offices and rooms. This creates the open feeling desired by the client and highlights the ‘visual clues’ built into the design, such as the curved for dramatic level changes, architectural landmarks, and lighting, all helping to keep the open flow of the space. The multi-use requirements of the facility work together seamlessly, all organized from the golden signage ‘ribbon’, starting at the entry pylon (with the HD displays) through the space to the 150 seat Conference Center.
