USW Fleet

This facility located at 208 62nd Avenue in Denver was designed to provide the most efficient means for servicing and maintaining a wide range and large number of general vehicles used by Qwest. The structure contains 14,200 square feet for twelve service bays, and 6,700 square feet for offices, crew room, showers, parts storage, and break areas. Light duty repair and heavy duty repair bays straddle the central parts and tool rooms allowing minimal distances to obtain necessary work items. The repair areas are designed with high bays and oversized doors to permit all equipment access to indoor spaces for repair. In the heavy-duty repair area, a ten ton bridge crane is provided to handle all of the many vehicle types in the Qwest fleet. The centralized office areas are two-story and designed for future expansion. Within this area are shower and locker rooms as well as a crew room and a break area. All parts, tools, and lubricants are located in this centralized area for ease of use as well as re-stocking and deliveries.
