Xcel Greeley

Renovation of a 1965 Service Center located in Greeley, Colorado, for Xcel Energy. The 17,200 SF facility had not been renovated or changed since its initial construction, so the project was brought to today’s Standards and Codes, including being fully accessible. A new ADA ramp, stair, and covered entry vestibule were constructed in the front of the facility along with new landscaping and street improvements. Inside, the entire facility was demolished, new restrooms/locker rooms built, a training center, break room and the office space re-organized with a new space plan, reflecting the current operations of the facility. New exterior thermal windows and doors where installed (existing facility had no windows). A Garage Facility near the existing building was renovated into office space and new systems installed, including insulation of the garage area. The project was completed in 2013.
